What a busy weekend!!!

Boy was my weekend busy. More busy than the usual holiday weekend busy. First turkey day on thursday which started with my computer completely freezing, stressing me out more than it should. Thankfully (hehe) thanksgiving dinner was awesome. Mark made his famous turkey and it was his best yet. Friday was the wedding. It was so beautiful I can't even describe it. I have never been to a wedding where the bride wrote a letter to the groom that the minister read and the mother of the bride's speech was so beautiful there was not a dry eye in the house!!!! We spent the night in Malibu Friday nite and drove home Saturday. Saturday afternoon was spent driving to my grandparents in Victorville. Sunday was truly a day of rest!!!

Our Little...eh...Big Turkey!!!

Mark is cooking his famous turkey for Thanksgiving this year so yesterday we were talking about what we needed to get. Anyway we are getting a bird that is 20-22 lbs, or at least that is what we reserved at Sprouts. That is going to be a pretty good size bird and we were thinking whether or not it would fit in our roasting pan. As the day went on we were commenting on how large out little guy is...he seems to be getting bigger and bigger every day. I know they are supposed to do that but he seems to be doing it exponentially. Did I mention we officially had to put him in size 4.......SIZE 4!!!!.... diapers yesterday which is what leads me to my point. We decided to weigh Dylan thinking he can't have grown that much in 3 weeks but surprise surprise....he has!!! So he started at 17 lbs 12 oz and yesterday we has 20 lbs 4 oz!!!!! That is 2 and a half pounds in 3 weeks!!! So getting back to the point.....Dylan is roughly the size of the turkey and he fit quite nicely in the roasting pan!!!!!!!!

I am so afraid I am going to fall!!!!

Ok....this is going to sound so silly to most people but for those of you that really know me you know that I am not a girly girl. I am more of a tennis shoes, no make up, jeans and t shirt kind a gal. Anyway one of my oldest and closest friends gave me the honor of being in her wedding. It is next weekend which just also happens to be my husband and I's 5th wedding anniversary. I am so happy for my friend Nicole and cannot wait to spend her special day with her let alone be apart of it but I am starting to stress out about falling. Yes I said falling. I am hoping that if I write it down it won't happen!!! The shoes that we are wearing aren't exactly meant for people who have large feet. I got the biggest size they had (11) and sadly they don't really fit. On top of that they are strapless and have what I think would be called a stilleto heel. I literally just spent 20 minutes walking around my house and taking the dishes out of the dishwasher while wearing them. I do pretty good on the carpet but when I get on the wood floor its a little scary. I have been going to gym and using that machine that strengthens your calves hoping that will help with some stability. Anyway, I am going to keep practicing so wish me luck!!!

Its tiring being this big!!!!

Did I Mention I Can Sleep Anywhere!!!

Yes the title can apply to me but I am starting to realize that it may belong to Dylan as well!!! In the past few weeks my little bubby has fallen asleep in some of the strangest places. He is also starting to sleep through the nite. We seem to be on an every other nite pattern and the night he sleeps through always coincides with his bath so I am thinkin he may start winning the title of cleanest baby in the world so Mommy can sleep!!! :-)

Ok this one is not so strange but we are at a very loud softball game and he could have cared less!!!

Here we are at his 2 month check up. The doctor has already seen him and done his full examination (including poking around under the hood) and Dylan decided to fall asleep while we are waiting for the nurse to come in and give him his shots!!! Just fell asleep right on the table!!!

So in this one Mommy was giving Zachary a bath and Daddy came in to say hi and put Dylan on the floor .....when he went back out to the living room apprx 1 min later this is what we got!!

For about a week Dylan would wake up from his nap in his swing and I would put him on his changing table and this would happen!!

This is in the middle of the day at Grandma's house in the family room with Logan and Zachary and Annika all very close by......My little sleeper!!!!

Zachary's Day Out!

Ever since Dylan's arrival into the world Zachary has obviously had less one on one time with Mommy and Daddy so we decided to take him to Disneyland for some special alone time without brother Dylan. We ended up at California Adventure cause we wanted to take him to Playhouse Disney. He loved seeing the Little Einsteins on stage!! We were able to go on Monsters Inc ride, the new toy story ride and the "red rocket" ride and we spent time in the wilderness area which is pretty neat. They have rope ramps and hollow trees and fake animal prints on the ground. Lots of fun for Zachary!! Zach's favorite ride is "red rocket". In the picture you can see him and Daddy on the ride and Zach has his arms up the entire time!!! He seemed to have alot of fun and definetly has been a great big bro and deserved the day out!!!

Trick or Treating with my Pumpkins!!!

Halloween was alot of fun this year!! Zachary did so good. He went door to door for about 3 blocks. Over 30 houses!!!! He was a trooper. I think it helped that his cousins were there!! We got off to a slow start though cause Zachary decided he was the big brother and was going to pull Dylan is his wagon to EVERY HOUSE!!! As you can imagine this slowed us down quite a bit but after about 4 houses I talked him into letting Daddy pull brother!!! Dylan was Winnie the Pooh's Hunny Pot. I still can't believe the costume remotely fit but it did. Zachary wore it last year when he was 1 and Dylan is wearing it at 2 months! WOW I guess thats what you can do when you are 17 POUNDS 12 OUNCES!!! Thats right folks by little baby boy is almost 18 pounds!!! The doctor says he is not even on the chart but he looks porportioned. We are going to monitor his weight closely to make sure nothing is wrong so for now he is just a really really really big boy!!! My 2 year old is 27 pounds 6 ounces. Only 10 lbs heavier than his brother! Did I tell everyone that Dylan has been in size 3 diapers for over 2 weeks now!! He definetly takes after me!!
