Its Pumpkin Carving Time!!

I didn't have time to get these posted last nite but this is what we did. Of Course next year I think Zachary will be a bit more interested in the carving so this year Daddy got to carve what he wanted. I think he did a pretty darn good job if I do say so myself.

Pumpkin Patch Fun!!!

Today Mark and I took Zachary and Logan to the pumpkin patch. They had so much fun!! Zach and Logan (and Mark of course) fed the goats and saw a turkey and the ponies. They jumped in the bounce house and played in the tee pees (?) and they both got to pick out there very own pumpkins. They both had originally picked nice small orange pumpkins but Zachs looked like it had something growing on the side of it and Logan's wasn't exactly round so we put those back and walked over to a different pile and when Logan saw the white pumpkin that was the end of it for him. Zach picked one out that had a stem he could grab so that was nice. We plan on carving them tonite so we will see how that goes!!!!

Yesterday we went to cousin Kaitlyns softball game. Logan and Zachary did a great job playing at the park. Neither one of them ran off once (Zachary is usually the runner!!). It was a beautiful day and fun was had by all. Today we went to church and after service they had trunk or treat. My intention was to get rid of ALL the candy we already had but that plan failed miserably. I didn't even have time to get my candy out of my car so my mom could give it away at her trunk before the treating began. Zach filled up yet another bag of candy. At this rate we are going to be able to open a candy shop!!! Uncle Jason must have put 20 pieces of candy in everyone's bag. Apparently he had the same idea but failed to realize that his 2 kiddos were filling their bags up so it was basically a wash. Funny thing about the trick or treating was as much fun as Zach and Logan had they had more fun playing in Grandma's trunk afterwards. The video doesnt do it justice.
I have to share this story about Uncle Jason cause it is just so darn funny. When we all went to Disney for the Halloween night the boys were having so much fun. Logan usually doesn't run off but he was so excited he was being a little more daring than normal. He took off towards those doors that say are for employees only. My first thought was please don't see a character "out of character" and be traumatized for life. Anyway, Jason cracked my entire family up cause to stop his 2.5 year old son he started yelling " Logan no. Cast Members Only Cast Members Only!!!" Needless to say it didn't stop Logan but thankfully he didn't see a headless Mickey either!!!

Not Enough Time in the Day

I have officially decided that there is not enough time in the day to get done all the things that need to get done. Its crazy!! Although some nights seem really really long....depending on how the moose does....the days are often toooo short. I never seem to get all the dishes done and the bottles cleaned. It always seems to look like the toy fairy threw up in my living room and bath time always sneaks up on me. Granted bathing 2 boys is challenging in and of itself but my husband and I are getting that down to science. I usually start the baths and Mark finishes them. With the exception of putting Dylan's pajamas on, which is left to me cause Mark doesn't like putting the pjs over Dylan's head and getting his super strong arms to go through the arm holes, they get clean and ready for bed in about 20 minutes. I consider that world record pace if I do say so myself.

P.S. If this doesn't make sense I have had to get up 4 times while writing it to put in Dylan's boppy cause he (and I) needs a longer nap!!!

P.S.S. I just realized tonite is bath night....wish us luck!!

Zachary's Birthday Weekend

This weekend was very busy!!! We went to California Adventure on friday night for Disney's Trick or Treat Party and it was so much fun. Zachary had a blast. They had so many characters out and so much candy it was great. At one point the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland was walking around and going up to people and pointing her finger at them as if to say "no no no". She went right up to Zach and bent over to be eye level with him and he was cracking up. He started pointing his finger at her and then when she didn't stop he bopped her in the nose!!! Not like he was hitting her but just playing. It was so funny!!!

Zachary also had an awesome time at his birthday. He got so many wonderful gifts (thank you everyone) and loved jumping in the bounce house we borrowed from Aunt Casey. He is actually outside right now with Daddy jumping around and playing with his new toys.

It was a crazy busy weekend and I am looking forward to relaxing today!!!
