Sick Sick Sick

I have to admit that as wonderful as Christmas was this year it would have been that much better if my entire family hadn't gotten sick. It started with Zach over 2 weeks ago and he still isn't better. Then Mark and me and then Dylan all on the same day. After 2 separate trips to the doctors for both boys and Zach ending up with a double ear infection we are now STILL in snot heaven. I know this is too much information for some of you and fair warning there will be a very telling picture below!!! As for me I still cannot hear out of my left ear and cannot wait to feel 100% better even thought at this rate it seems like it will never happen!!

I can't believe Christmas just came and went. Its amazing what a difference a year can make...last year it was 3 kiddos at my parents house and this year it was 6!!! I hope everyone had as great a Christmas as we did.....with more sleep and less family members being sick tho!!!
Speaking of sleep both boys are so time to go to bed!!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS

Santa visited today!!!

Every year Santa comes down our street a couple weeks before Christmas and today was the day. Zachary was mesmerized by Santa in his sleigh. I can't explain how great it feels when you see such awe and excitement in your children. Great reminder of the true meaning of Christmas!!!

I need to Win the Lottery!!

I have decided that I really need to win the lottery. That would solve a lot of my problems (and I am sure make a few more but those are the kind of problems you want to have). Since the writing down about not falling in the wedding worked maybe since I wrote it down it will actually happen. I hope so cause somethings gotta give!!!!

Who Knew Breaking and Entering was so Easy!!!

So on Friday I found out that it is incredibly easy to break into my house!!! The good news is that it was me breaking in and nobody else but to be honest that doesn't make me feel that much better. The story begins with an innocent trip to the store to get milk. I load both boys in the minivan and off we go. First time (honestly) that I have left the house without bringing a diaper bag of any kind cuz we are just going to get milk. We get back to the house and I push the button to open the garage and nothing. It opens about an inch and then closes. I try over and over and over. By this point Dylan is crying cuz its time for him to eat. I start to think how am I going to get into my house. We don't use the front door so I don't even have keys to the front on my keychain. When I remember that we hid keys for this very reason a glimmer of hope hit me but then I remembered that when we hid those keys we didn't have any kids and that meant we never locked the screen door so again I am out of luck. I go over everything I can think of in my head.....back door..no thats locked....windows...all shut and locked......side door...don't have a key for that hidden!!!!
We are off to my mom's where thankfully she has some bottles that she uses for my niece Annika. I leave the boys there and go back to my house armed with 2 screwdrivers...one a phillips and one a flathead. I am convinced that I am going to have to break my screen door and replace it which means time and money that I don't have. To make a long story short (ok I know too late) I make sure everything I thought was locked is locked and decide I am going to try my bedroom window with the screwdriver. They do it in movies right so why not? 2 seconds...literally 2 seconds to pop the lock and get my window open!!!!! Good news was that I got into my house.....bad news is that it seems anyone can if they want to!!!

Christmas Village!!!

Right now Zachary is watching Mark's favorite Christmas movie from when he was a kid. Its called Santa and the 3 Bears. I had never seen it when I was a kid but Mark says he loved it. It must be pretty good cause Zach is at least 15 minutes into it and he hasn't moved. I think all the songs in it help cause Zachary loves music!!
